Financial Policy / Insurance

We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac, cash, and certified cheques only. 

You and not your insurance company are solely responsible for your account. We do not accept assignment of your insurance benefits. Arrangements regarding installment payments must be discussed and arranged ahead of time. Full payment is due on your surgical date.

Our fees are set utilizing the current Fee Guide for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (Specialists) as published by the Ontario Dental Association. Our fees are usually higher than those of a general dentist (ODA Fee Guide for General Practitioners). Dental insurance re-imbursement is usually based on the GP fee guide and there is often a difference between their payment to the patient and the office service fee.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
