Argyle Associates is a one of the largest groups of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Canada. Established in 1980, we have grown into a group of Surgical Specialists who are able to provide our patients with the entire scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical procedures available today. All of our surgeons have Hospital Appointments in local hospitals, and, along with our staff, will constantly strive to provide you with the highest level of quality, care and compassion possible.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are Dental Surgical Specialists. After completing 4 years of dental school, they have furthered their education with 4 to 6 years of additional residency training in surgery, medicine, and anaesthesia. In some training programs, this may also include the completion of Medical School, and a prolonged experience in General Surgery. This hospital-based, intensive program is based in major medical centers and involves all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the teeth, mouth, and jaws. The surgical staff are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, made up of Registered Nurses and Dental Assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery.
