Dr. H. Moghadam completed his dental training at McGill University followed by a multidisciplinary residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He then established a private practice in Vancouver BC, limiting his practice to periodontal surgery and implants. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Toronto and pursued a Masters in science in the field of bone regeneration. He has lectured and published both nationally and internationally in the field of bone grafting and soft tissue surgery. His lecture series are dedicated to the regeneration of peri-implant tissues. His current research interests include stem cell based bone regeneration and he is working closely with the Halifax Bone Bank in developing a bone substitute. He is on the Health Canada National surveillance committee which is involved in regulating cells, tissues and organ transplants in Canada.
